IT for the Terrified Courses
IT for the Terrified is a friendly, six‑week course designed for adults who feel unsure or anxious about using technology. The workshops focus on practical, everyday digital skills, including using email, accessing online services and confidently navigating the NHS app.
The sessions are delivered by West Nottinghamshire College in partnership with Newark and Sherwood District Council and the Social Action Hub and are aimed at people who may otherwise struggle to access digital support.
Workshop details
The sessions run over six weeks on Fridays, from 15 May to 26 June 2026, at two local venues:
- Castle House, Newark – 1pm to 3pm
- Social Action Hub, Rainworth – 9.30am to 11.30am
There are 20 places available at each location.
Residents can book by emailing [email protected] or calling 01623 413 602.
We would really appreciate your support in sharing this opportunity by:
- Passing the information on to your members and residents
- Including it in newsletters or community communications
- Displaying or distributing the attached poster and letter where appropriate
A resident letter and poster are attached to this email to make sharing information as easy as possible.
